Contributor Information

If you have information about antiques, collectibles, art please consider sharing your knowledge with others. We are looking for niche topics, or subjects which have not been treated in other sources. However, no topic related to antiques, collecting, preservation, or associated histories is off limits.


Getting started is easy. Register for the website. Then email us your interest to be a contributor and the topic you want to cover. Once approved, you can submit your work for publication. Pictures are helpful.

• We are not Wikipedia and do not expect the level of tone or detail often found in its articles, though we certainly will accept it.
• You must submit original work, and cite references when borrowing other authors' works. Plagiarism will result in loss of contributor privileges.
• State facts rather than opinion. Some topics, however, may require use of balanced opinion in which case the information should be presented as an hypothesis.
• Use of pictures is encouraged as long as they do not infringe on copyright. Pictures should be of high quality and of the subject only.
• Include history and key people associated with the subject. Josiah Wedgwood would be an important person to discuss in the evolution of Jasperware.
• Grammar is important.
• Verbs should agree with the subject rather than the object of the preposition.
